Base Fee (2017, Per-Child)

Registration fees depend on the Challenge Level and are per student
$  60 - Students in grades K-2 participating in the Rising Stars/Early Learners Challenge
$125 - Students in grades 3-12 
participating in Elementary, Middle, and Secondary Level Challenges

What's Included

The base fee includes

  • A t-Shirt for the student
  • Team Challenge program fee
  • Fees for Regional (all teams) and State (grades 3-12) Tournaments
  • DI Demo Day
  • Team Manager Training
  • End-of-season banquet
Extra costs at tournaments (such as hotel, meals, etc.) are not covered. There may be additional costs for materials used to complete the Team Challenge

Refunds

The fees Saline DI collect pay for T-Shirts, registrations, and necessary materials. The refund schedule below takes into account our need to pay mandatory organizational fees to MICA and Destination Imagination.

  • 100% refund within 2 weeks of a team's first meeting, or if your child cannot be placed on a team
  • $15 cancellation fee on or before December 1st
  • No refunds given after December 1st
